Why a PDF can be rejected
A PDF can open normally on your computer and still fail in a portal. Upload systems may apply stricter rules than ordinary PDF viewers.
Some forms allow only a fixed number of pages.
Password-protected PDFs may be rejected even when the password is known.
A PDF viewer may tolerate problems that a portal parser does not.

Why won’t my PDF upload?
